NOTE FROM GPC - as with other distortion pedals in this category, if you max the volume and gain, there will be noise in the signal path. From our tests and most online reviews of the pedal, setting the gain and volume at 12 or 1 o'clock will give some really biting hard rock style crunch tone. Enough for any hard crunch sound!
