The mode switch has 3 settings:

1.  Fuzz 1 - Basic fuzz sound with emphasis on the midrange
2.  Fuzz 2 - Full bodied fuzz with scooped mids and sharp harmonics
3.  Boost - The level control is inactive and the gain control adjusts the boost
